[August, 2011] Our Ancient Macedonia tour went into Macedonia region of Greece from Macedonia as a country.
Macedonia and Greece are still fighting about this name, so Macedonia Republic is often called officially with the adjective ‘Former Yugoslavia’.
Poor, Macedonia…Anyway, Ancient Macedonia means Alexander the Great, doesn’t it.
Pella is his birth place.
It is hard to walk around the ruins under the strong sun, but I enjoyed this small museum.
