Watching the eruptions

Watching the eruptions

[june 2012] The highlight of the Stromboli tour in the Eolian Islands off Sicily was to watch the eruptions which happens every 20 minutes or so.

In the dark, you can see the red eruptions, though it is only a moment.

For the captain of the boat, it is everyday view and while we were looking up the sky with our mouths open, he was enjoying fishing at the rear end of the boat.
