[ May2016 ] In the middle of the old town of Fontanellato in Emilia Romagna, Italy, there is a castle called Rocca Sanvitale. It is a picturesque castle surrounded by the moat with the water. Some carps were swimming in the water. This castle was built in the 12th century as a fortress, but at the beginning of the 15th century it became a home of Count Sanvitale. And to mu surprise, the Sanvitale family lived there until middle of 20th century. Now it is owned by the local government, though. Apparently, people can visit inside with the guide only in certain times. We did not go in this time, but they say that it is worth seeing inside as there are some famous paintins and others. I would like to see it someday.
There is a huge labyrinth outside of Fontanellato, too, which we did not have time to visit. We just happend to visit this town, but it seemed to have many things to see. Italy is really deep.
