2013 ] A small town called Putignano in Puglia in the southern Italy is famous for its carnival in February or March.
People go there from all over Italy to see it, but apart from that, it is a snug little quiet town in a rural district.
This time, we came to Puglia for some business and popped in to this town for a short visit.
Unfortunately it was already dark when we arrived there, which is a problem for travelling in winter.
We walked in the old town which is like a maze without any plan.
The town is so small that there was no problem if we were lost.
When we came out to a little square from an alley where there were almost no one, which reminded me of some horror films, children were playing football under the light of street lamps.
