[ June, 2013 ] We went to Rochester in Kent, England without doing any homework, so at the lunch time, we popped in the tourist office so that we can get some recommendation of restaurants.
But she said ” We cannot recommend any”.
Indeed, they cannot treat only some with favour as an official tourist office.
All the restaurants in Rochester are in High Street.
In the end, we went into the one just in front of the tourist office called Atrium.
The house itself seemed very old and smelt a bit musty, but it was full of English atmosphere.
I chose pork belly for the main and it was quite good.
The service was good, too, as an English restaurant.
