[July, 2011] In Heidelberg in Germany, they were having the Bridge Festival for Karl-Theodor-Brucke (Alte Brucke), the bridge over river Necker.
The musicians were all rather old and the audience who were dancing along the music were rather old, too.
In the German speaking cultural area, I often notice that adults go out to get together and enjoy themselves, which is wonderful.
It may be one aspect of so called ‘ Old Europe’, but it is a good thing because everyone gets old anyway.
