A Monkey

A Monkey

[July, 2011] This is a statue of a monkey located at one end of the Old Bridge (Alte Brucke) in the old town in Heidelberg, Germany.

According to the leaflet I got from the tourist office, it has been there since 1970s and very popular among tourists.

The head part is empty, so people can get in and take photos.

By letting people do that, it may want to say that there are a lot of people like a monkey…?
