[ Mar. 2014 ] I have visited many churches in various places, but this cathedral in Toledo in Spain was the most gorgeous one so far. The guidebook I bought there says ” this is the best example of the gothic art not only in Spain but in the world” and I agree. There used to be the main mosque here, and they started building the cathedral in the 12th century and finished it in the end of 15th centufy. The cathedral is very big as they built it so that all of the people in Toledo can enter. I particularly liked the room for choir. It was beautiful with full of carvings. The ticket for the entrance to this cathedral was 8 euros (with audio guide), but it is definitely worth spending.
