[Aug.2009] In Athens, we went to Acropolis as everyone else.
Unfortunately, what I remember most about Acropolis is not about the ruin itself, but the fact that we nearly became a victim of a pickpocket.
A couple pretending tourists stretched a hand to my pocket where my wallet was.
I noticed that just in time.
After that, in a restaurant they tried to overcharge us, and at the port, we were nearly surrounded a group of suspicious looking people.
We did not get actual harm luckily, but Athens gave me the impression that it is a stressful city which exploits tourists, though tourism is their big source of their income.
In those days the dept issue was not as serious as now, yet.
