[ Jan.2013] We got off the boat at Cernobbio on Como Lake.
They hold an economic forum called Ambrosetti Forum every year here.
When we were getting off the boat, people were talking about this restaurant, Trattoria del Vapore, so we went in it.
We were early and lucky enough to get seats.
People were coming in one after another and soon the restaurant became full.
Most of the customers seemed to be the regulars and they talked with the shop staff as if they had known for a long time.
Apparently this restaurant was closed for the New Year and just opened a few days before.
I had a look online and found that this place has got a long history.
It started as an inn in 1600 and in 1894 it was already a restaurant as a document indicated.
My friend had a rabbit dish and I had a venison for the main.
We ate them with polenta.
All were very good 🙂
