2012] This year, I came across the situation that the goods made in China were pressing the local industries.
Turkish silk, German gemstones and this time Venecian glass and masks.
If the quality is good, it does not matter where they make it, but I do not agree with the situation that things are being sold as local products but in fact made in China.
The famous Venecian (Murano) glass but made in China started being sold here 5,6 years ago apparently.
On the other hand, the chinese tourists are increasing rapidly.
This time I saw a gourp of Chinese people on a gondola singing Chinese songs loudly.
So ironically, Chinese tourists buy Venecian souvenir made in China and take them back home.
