[ Dec.2014 ] We took a sight seeing boat which started just next to our hotel in Awa Kominato in Chiba, Japan.
We had not done our homework about the tour beforehand, so I was surprised when they stopped and started giving some foods to sea breams.
Really a lot of big fish came around the boat, being very excited.
It was really worth a look.
It was similar to carps in a pond, when you give them some foods.
Usually sea breams live much deeper sea, but these ones here are special that live in the water around 20 metres deep.
One of my family was excited, too, saying “oh, that one looks tasty..no, this one looks more tasty!”, while another one got seasick and could not see anything.
By the way, this is the area where saint Nichiren, a Buddhist monk was born and sea breams are considered holy.
So they do not catch and eat them thoughtlessly.
It is like the cows in Hindu.
