[ Sept.2014 ] After we enjoyed the night view in Hakodate, it was the time for dinner.
We went to the restaurant called “Uni Murakami” which I had already chosen from our guide book by taxi.
The good-natured taxi driver said ” That restaurant serves good foods, but for me it is too expensive” and continued ” we can get sea urchins whenever we go to the sea”.
Anyway, it seemed a popular restaurant.
We had to wait a while, but it was worth it.
I ate the grilled sea urchin as you can see in the photo, and a big bowl of sea urchin, salmon roe and scallop and they were very good.
Because of the taxi driver, I was apprehenisve of the bill, but including half bottle of wine, it was a bit more than 10000 yen (about 59 pounds or 77 euros) for two.
Luckly yen is low at the moment, so we felt it was very reasonable.
