[ July, 2013 ] On a hot summer day in July, we had a walk with my friend who is an expert of back streets of London.
The starting point of this walking course was Finsbury Park.
I am familiar this area as I used to live not too far from this park, but in those days I avoided going into the park itself, because I always thought it was dangerous.
But apparently they got ￡5m fund in 2003, and it seemed a nice healthy park now.
It has got 110 acres land and within that, there are facilities of football and other sports, a cafe, a space for art exhibitions and so on.
They sometimes hold a big music concert.
Jimi Hendrix, Morrissey, Bob Dylan and many other big names played here in the past.
