[February, 2012] In Genova, I stayed in Bristol Palace Hotel.
When I was checking in, I looked up and found this magnificent staircase.
This is very European traditional hotel with very spacious room and the nicely patterned wooden floor.
Nowadays a lot of hotels are similar with modern furniture, which is not interesting.
I hope this kind of atmospheric can keep its presence.
By the way, I was curious why there are so many Bristol hotels all over the world and found on the internet that because the Earl Bristol in Bristol in England in the 18th century travelled a lot, some hotels started being called Earl Bristol's hotels.
The first one was in Paris, but now Italy has got the most Bristol hotels which is more than 50 apparently.
