Crowded Puerta del Sol

Crowded Puerta del Sol

[July 2012] Puerta del Sol is a popular meeting place in Madrid.

Since 16th century it always has been full of people apparently.

One old man kept dancing to the music by this band in the photo.

Looked like a peaceful place, but the next day after I left the city, I saw a big demonstration meeting in this square on TV.

It seems to be the equivalent to Trafalgar Square in London.
