[ July 2014 ] From Eastbourne in England we went to Beachy Head, the famous white cliff.
I had had a look at the internet to see how to get there, but in the end, we chose the Hop On Hop Off sightseeing bus, which was recommended in my guide book.
There is always a merit that we can hear various information.
Before getting on, I asked the young man of the bus company where to get off to see the best scenery.
Thanks to him, we could enjoy the wonderful view of the cliff.
The hightest point of this chalk cliff is 162 metres and it is a famous place for suicide.
It is really sheer, so you need a courage to go up to the edge.
Some people were lying down and looking down there.
