[ Jan.2015 ] This is a photo of the garlic bread I ate in a cafe in Hoi An in Vietnam.
It was lovely for them to serve it like this on some leaves, which added the local atmosphere.
Before going to Vietnam, I had heard that the bread was good there, and that was true.
Maybe because French were ruling for a long time? The baguette for breakfast at our hotel was excellent, so we ate them a lot every morning.
Wine is another keepsake of French people.
I thought the climate in Vietnam is not at all good for wine making, but there are some Vietnamese wines.
I tried a glass, which was OK, but not as good as the bread.
