[July 2012] In Madrid, we looked for a restaurant called Casa Labra listed in my guidebook.
The main space here was the tapas bar and full of local people, but a small restaurant behind, with only 6 tables had a space, so we chose there.
Strangely the customers there apart from me were all Italians, though my guidebook was English.
This restaurant was founded in 1860 and specialised in cod.
I chose a simple grilled cod with chili and garlic source, which was delicious.
The waiter there was nice, too.
